Cranberry-Lemon Research (CLR) is an innovative student organization at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar dedicated to the exploration and development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies. Our mission is to create a dynamic and inclusive community where AI enthusiasts can collaborate on cutting-edge research, share ideas, and engage in exciting projects that make complex AI concepts accessible to a broader audience. Through a combination of research opportunities, seminars, and practical sessions, CLR aims to inspire curiosity and creativity in AI/NLP, fostering an environment where members can thrive and contribute to the advancement of AI technologies.
At CLR, we believe in the power of collaborative innovation. Our organization provides a platform for students from diverse backgrounds to work together on intriguing AI/NLP topics, driving forward the frontiers of research. We offer engaging discussions, workshops, and resources designed to enrich the AI landscape within our community. In addition to our core activities, CLR is planning to collaborate with the Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI) to support the Qatar National Team for the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI). By working with QCRI, we aim to elevate the standards of AI research and education, ensuring that our members and the wider community benefit from the latest advancements and opportunities in the AI landscape.
